I get sleep paralysis and the thought of being in that state for 6 years is my absolute worst nightmare, the feeling of not being able to move for 2 minutes is absolute torture to me, 5 years would be the worst torture I could imagine

@IcarusLhooq-bc7uq

I feel claustrophobic just watching this, I would rather end.
@effortmsimelelo5059
All ide be saying is "kill me" as a father, i think it would be selfish keeping them alive for my own benefit. It sounds mean, but if this happened to my son… and he asked me to ease his pain i would cause i would want someone to do the same. This is one of my biggest fears. I'm just saying it tho idk if i could go through with it.
@vividdreams8356
When I saw the title of this I assumed she had been pretending the whole time, and they were going to pull the plug only for her to spring up and say "No, no, i was just kidding"
@Slash1066
Studies have proven 2 different types of comas. Sometimes they ARE aware, sometimes not.

In real life these people get such horrible contractures and wounds, get malnourished, and then get pneumonia or sepsis and die.
@SandNebula232
Wasn't it the father that assaulted her?
@CallMehDustyNinja
Dr Meredith Fell?
@caroline1523
I thought this ridiculous scenario must have been a comedy program

It isn't every day when a group of actors succeeds in making you suspend your disbelief. Well done.

I have something similar to this but fortunately not near as bad. I will wake up and not be able to move, sometimes for hours. I have been taken to emergency and the doctors do not have a clue. They will do that stupid chest rub that hurts like heck and ends up leaving bruises but of course I cannot respond. I can hear everything and if my eyes are open I can see. My wife would tell them what medication to give me and some doctors would do it and then I would come out of it and be fine. Other doctors who have the God complex would ignore her and I would lie there for hours unable to move a muscle until it finally decided to kick out. Often the doctors or nurses would presume that I could not hear yet I could hear everything and some of them were incredibly rude and unprofessional. Most doctors do not have a clue about serious brain injuries or have any concept of modern neurology. When I started getting it it was terrifying but after a while I got used to it but lying in one position for hours at a time gets really painful.
@jamesmiehe7764
Imagine having sleep paralysis for 5yrs thatās scary
@ChrissyAnn85
Stop asking why! Hes asing for a reason. Just answer his question and you will find out why he's asking.

When I was 17, I was staying overnight at a friends house. Nothing special, 2 ten girls hanging out. I woke up the next morning completely paralyzed. I tried to wake my friend up, screaming at the top of my lungs for her to help me. She didnāt wake up. She couldnāt hear me. I tried not to freak out and I willed myself back to sleep. Many hours later, I heard my friend and her mom talking about how I wasnāt awake yet⦠having sleep way past 11am despite being a relatively early riser for a teen. My friend sat beside me on the bed and my eyes motioned to her to help me. It took every ounce of energy to reach out and touch her. In my mind I was screaming that I couldnāt move. To her it came out as a whisper as she leaned in to hear what I was saying. She literally sat me up and started moving my joints, I lost my balance when I stood up. She and her mom couldnāt believe what was happeningā¦. Neither could I! Needless to say, I felt dizzy and weak all that day and every joint and muscle in my body felt like I was swimming against a rip tide. That was the weirdest experience Iāve ever had. To this day, we are still friends and every once in a while we recall that weird/ very bizarre incident.

I heard about this recently in a Reddit story where they were supposed to be in a coma but were awake the whole time and before my mins passing she was put in a medically induced coma and I was too afraid to talk to her what if she could have heard me and I could have said so many things to her in her final days but I was too upset to speak because I didnāt want to feel like I was talking to myself š¢š¢š¢
