Okay but I really don't get: why aren't you getting out? Then start taking on other hobbies than the gym? Join a running group, or a literature club. Do something for your neighbour, the church, the local animal shelter. Start reading, crocheting, travel. Imagine, the whole world is open to you, why don't you use it? It's all yours, right there, you can just take it? Get to know yourself, explore your feelings, learn a new language, do something? of course I cannot speak for everyone, but if your hobbies are gaming and gym, to pretty lonely sports, you just don't have social connections, you know? And maybe you won't feel as lonely as you do right now, if you start spending your time with other people?
