Warren ‘Wawa’ Snipe is a rapper and he is deaf.
He was in Barbados in March, the month of the disabled, as part of the Calypso Project, which seeks to introduce music to members of the deaf community.

He sat down with The Nation’s Tre Greaves and talked about some of what he found and the areas which need to be addressed. He also issued a challenge to members of the hearing community.
