Liverpool FC Star, Diogo Jota, Dies in Car Crash
The Liverpool FC player Diogo Jota and his brother have died after a fire broke out in a car following a traffic accident.

Cristiano Ronaldo led tributes to the 28-year-old Portuguese forward, who had got married last month.
Pictures taken in church on June 22 show Jota and his bride Rute Cardoso with their three children: Denis, Duarte, and a daughter born in 2024 whose name has not been revealed.
His brother Andre Silva, 26, was also a footballer who had most recently played for Penafiel in Portugal’s second division. He previously played for the youth teams of FC Porto, where his brother spent a season on loan.

If you look at the traffic in any of these pictures driving past the accident site, they’re all doing the correct speed and no way if they do happen to have an accident your result would not cause a death. This footballer must’ve been travelling. 160 170 km or more breaking the speed limit. This man should not be celebrated. He was a danger to himself and to others. fortunately, no other cars was involved and he did not take any other road users with him. This is the only good thing I can say about this crash. This must be a lesson to celebrities and footballers public roads are not private. Racetracks and they must go on a race track if they want to exceed speeds that this football I was doing I have no sympathy for him

In today's Daily Mail the day after this horrific accident – there's a headline inside that refers to the fact that Jota's brother Andre was driving a Lamborghini.
And the way it's construed you may be forgiven for thinking that they were driving irresponsibly and perhaps in some way deserved the outcome.
But it was NOT a typical Lamborghini, because it was in fact an SUV and I just felt that it was important to make this clear rather than people maybe jumping to the wrong conclusions or making inaccurate assumptions.
