  • I just watched a movie about the sign language policy in Hong Kong. The name is "The Way We Talk", directed by Adam Wong. I thought their sign language is Hong Kong sign language, not the Mandarin. Because the words in sign language used is unique in their language Cantonese.

    I am thinking if the sign language is used by the communication with local people, local people should learn sign language , but at the same time, universal sign language may kill the local sign language. I think they may prefer better to talk in two sign languages.
