How to send money to an inmate via JPay



This is how to send money to a CDCR inmate using JPay. This can be either to their commissary account or to their inmate restitution. Drop a comment below if you have any questions.

  • I know you said CA, I'm in TN. Do you know if jpay used to have 2 options there too? It's been years since I've used the site and it's different now. Before it asked if you wanted to send it to "debit account" (which went on the phone so they could call any number) or "commissary"… Now it justs says "send money." I'd hate for them to not get it to their commissary.
