  • Hello… My name is liberty and i'm hard of hearing also i'm senior. My dream is is to be best YouTuber. My mom didn't support it but my siblings think it's a great idea. I haven't grab the idea for my title for my channel. But anyways I like your videos, also new here too. I learn some tips from you also I'm focusing on my skills to be YouTuber. I haven't got a job, so i couldn't make money to buy my own camera and computer for editing. But I don't give up. I can do this!!! Thank you so much!!!! Love you!!! <3

  • Those that are born deaf or lost hearing as infants don’t sound the same when they talk compared to those who lost their hearing after having learned to talk.

  • "Plot twist! " is such a cheery way to cope with lifes setbacks! Thank you! I'm writing that on a card for my wall xxx

  • This video answered so many of the questions I've had while watching your other videos!

  • It is a really good video.

  • Hello! I was late-deafened last year, at age 31, and I of course want to make any videos I make accessible to d/Deaf people BUT I'm wondering…how to write captions when I can't hear myself speak? What's your technique? Merci!

  • I was wondering who edits your videos! I like the tinkling music and the sound is balanced perfectly, but I'm guessing that's someone else's doing. Do you have a team?

  • You have the most GORGEOUS smile! I'm jealous.

  • You make me feel interested in learning sign language. Can you teach me?

  • AW! HI PUPPY!!! <3 i have a really weird (and hopefully non-offensive question), do deaf people who talk between ASL and other sign languages have "accents", like slurs, um… not slur as in BAD words, but as in sign differences, and how do you get around them? I have a deaf friend here in northern Minnesota USA, he's been teaching me ASL, (s-l-o-w-l-y because I'm a slow learner lol!) but I've always wondered if signs are different between cultures and countries? I hope there's no offence here, just a legitimate curiosity question 🙂

  • This is such a great video! You have just earned a new subscriber 🙂

  • Gosh I love you! You are hilarious 😂😂

  • OMGASH YOUR HAIR LOOKS AMAZING!!!!

  • Hello, Jessica! This video should be starred so that everyone new to your channel gets the "inside scoop."

  • Really appreciate your videos, I have learnt loads since I started to watch your youtube channel! At first it was 'just' the hair videos (they are marvelous by themselves) and then the suggested next videos got me interested. So good to hear about all this especially when one does not know anyone with disabilities. Thank you! Love from Sweden!

  • ive always wondered how you edit the audio in your videos if you can’t hear it? you do an amazing job editing your videos, they always look and sound lovely! i’m just curious as to how you do it 🙂
also! i’m learning ASL in school and i always love to watch your videos because they give me an even better understanding of deafness and you’re so well spoken and informative 💖

  • Hi can everyone check out @deaftones18 on Instagram!! We are on Ireland's got talent. Please give us a follow. Thank you 😜

  • My friends and I all call the "smile and nod" the "deaf nod" and for most people in most situations it is very vital to being "involved" In a conversation when you have absolutely no idea what is actually happening

  • Smile and nod also works when you move to Japan with very little Japanese know how…wouldn’t say it saved me life but it helps. Anywho, love your vlog!

  • LOVE YOUUUUUU (and that dress! Oh Lala!)

  • Hi Jessica. How come your lipstick does not smudge/get onto the dog when you kisses him?

  • Loved your video! Extremely powerful and upbeat. Keep up the great work.

  • She's a lesbian I want to be her friend

  • You are amazing! Do you know of any other deaf YouTubers?

  • You are an amazing human being

  • I’m obsessed with that top. Your style is so crisp and put together in each and every video.

  • I am so madly in love with your hair color! Is this your natural color? Could you do a tutorial on how you get this color if it's not?

  • I found your channel a couple days ago and I'm binging so hard. I love you, Claudia, your puppies, your life experience, and your insider info about disabilities.

  • Idk why but I really want to learn sing language. I see it as something very interesting and helpful. I will someday, hopefully soon 🙂

  • I love watching these, I'm really tempted to become an interpreter. I'm not sure, obviously, because I want to do loads of things (because to be honest I love education) but I'm absolutely in love with sign and making it my career would be a wonderful gift (for me.) I guess I'll have to figure it out soon xD

  • my goodness, I adore you. you really brighten my day…its nine pm. well anyway, you're really wonderful.

  • ahhhh you're awesome!

  • I've just recently started having hearing issues over the last 2 years. Hearing tests keep coming out as "Not Horrible". ie "on the line". But I plain ole just can't hear most people. Especially mens voices. I've been learning to lip read by myself. I'm lucky so far in that my friends and family are Very nice about repeating. But smile and nod is my most standard response. Very isolating in crowded settings. My friends don't understand why I don't enjoy hanging out as much as I used to. Love your vids and your positivity. Thank you.

  • I just discovered you and I may or may not be in love. I love how you use sign language in addition to spoken language. Makes me want to learn sign language even more!

  • There's actualy a kind of challenge that some youtubers started doing. ("Raw Footage Challenge" or something?) It would be a good illustration and I think it could also turn out very funny! 🙂

  • I find this video very entertaining, informative and extremely interesting.

  • Fabulous video. At what age did you start to learn BSL and how long did it take you?. This is a question that you must get asked a lot as I do when people find out I'm multilingual. Also very bad at BSL but getting better. Why are there so many ASL videos on YT but not so many BSL?

  • You are a gorgeous soul honey. Bless you, you are such a sweetheart. You and your wife are two adorable sweeties 🙂

  • Jessica, as I often tell myself, I am not posh merely aware of my inherent superiority………..and modesty. You have a lovely voice and are an eloquent and expressive speaker, you just dress posh 😉.
With your love of signing you may like to watch the film The Little Death (2014) AKA – A Funny Kind Of Love.  A memorable scene involves a deaf man using a video sign language service to communicate with a phone sex line. The humour comes from the situation and not at anyone’s expense.

  • What a great video! I'm sure lots of people can use this as a motivation. I bet everyone has those smile-and-nod-moments from time to time. When there's a conversation about cars going on, for example, it's the only thing I can do. 😃 It's awesome that you followed your dreams and became a TV presenter. I hope the job gives you all the joy you wanted it to give you 🙂

  • I've often wondered, now I know, cheers.

  • Fabulous video always xx

  • I was wondering how to communicated with Claudia. That's gotta tough on your relationship I bet when you are always having her repeat? I was wondering though, is she learning BSL as well? I've seen her sign a few times but does she just know a few things? You two are so cute together ❤
