Dude in the blue shirt…is that one of my instructors in Lingvano?! 🤯
@lilsheba
Australia teaches a couple of languages in the curriculum really poorly, it'd be amazing if every school taught sign as a language instead so we weren't excluding our own citizens from their own country
@Mimjay
Watching this series was like being in another world. I don't know if anyone can relate to this but it's like every time one of the deaf people started using sign language, I could hear their voices in my head! Just happy that I found this series in Netflix. Watching it was just a whole new experience for me.
@reemka8414
He’s not in the linked video. I like the idea of this video, but it’s not really the way this scene plays out 😢
@weforgot
Almost done watching the first episode.. they are all gross and unlikable, imo. Fake, shallow, entitled,… I don’t know if it’s more of a fancy spoiled college type of thing, or just how deaf culture is 🤷♂️
Edit: Only one that seems decent is Dalton. And the wlw couple a bit
@mij-kb7rg
Just finished episode 1 and man, my ASL is not even CLOSE to as good as I thought it was.
But if it gives me 0.00000001% more of a chance with Dalton, I will keep going.
@kissfan7
Love them beautiful people

@j444lia6
College kids are college kids lol! I was soooo cringey at times because IVE BEEN THERE! It was cool to see a small school dynamic with the added intersection of deaf culture. I learned a lot
@Bioshocking12
This saddened me. Not sure why the negative sticks more than the positive. I’m happy that Deaf Culture is more on spotlight. But at 1:19, the dude asking girl “why mouthing”. And her response “not deaf enough”. That’s the story of my life for the last 10 years. I’m late deafened. Don’t fit in with hearing and Deaf made sure I knew that I’m not welcomed there. So yes, though I’m around folk, I still feel alone.

@bhargav.boddeda91
Why is the populations of deaf women at Gallaudet more than twice that of the men? Is it that the population of deaf women is that much higher, that more deaf women are in post secondary education than men, or that deaf men are more likely to go to hearing schools?

@germanher7528
I’m so excited n watching Netflix
@reshmachakraborty123
I'm not deaf, but am autistic. I like the show, but wondered why there were no black deaf women. Black autistic women are also less represented on the media.

I want to share with you truth and life.
All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). The punishment for sin is Hell. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23). Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6). Repent of your sins, believe in Jesus Christ and accept Him into your heart and follow Him.
@Katia25
This has received the GLAAD Media Awards nomination for outstanding reality program! Interesting list of competitors, who will it be?
