How horrible of a man do you have to be to not only cheat on your wife, but get a blind/deaf woman pregnant and ditch her with a baby. It really is all men.
@Caitlyn-n3d
Is it real or movie?
@AggelikiKra
Why were cochlea implants not an option for her?
@lilli9408
I'm just watching this in 2024. Julia is a remarkable woman. I feel the married father of the baby took advantage of her, and he should be made to pay back every cent that the government has spent on the assistance given to Julia. She proved she could do it. I wish them all the best.
@LWilli65
My second cousin is blind. She has 2 daughters. She was raising them alone fornthe first 7 years of their lives until she got a brain tumor and the surgery left her incapable of caring for them. There uncle has the girls now. I have to say when she had her children. Those girls never really left the apartment. They missed so much. Since the uncle got them, they go on trips twice a year and they get to interact with other people. In my opinion it's really unfair to the children and quite selfish on the mothers part.
@angelcasillas1014
I am a blind mom with two kids, and I don’t know how they would say they fared, because from the ages of seven and 10, I was a single mother! I do know that I did my best and I love them with all my heart! 2:41 2:48
@angelinaquilimaco8105
What is she doing on her hand to communicate? Ive never seen that before?
@wonderingsoul8021
I would love to know how their both doing today in May of 2024 .
@jackyblue67same10
I love that she is very cheeky and strong she makes them see she is ònly human with a disability that will not stop her from living! You have to respect it she not for the bs!
@1tru1
It made me sad to see the baby cry and root for her breast, imagine how many nignts that baby screamed…
Especially as a toddler.
I wont ever forget the scene where she smacked that babies hand for putting it in her mouth because she was eating. It's weird seeing this on YOUTUBE. 😂
This was made in 1993 and I realize that the US was behind on Fashion. 😂 They wore certain things ahead of us.
@Sistatiph
Raise baby on her own?? HOW exactly??
@scarlettgallegos5812
I admire your courage, your tenacity and strong will to raise your child. In addition I enjoy your wit and charm. Don't take this the wrong way but the world is evil and there are predators everywhere. I know you'll find Someone perfect. God bless you dear
@todaysbaitnswitch
Omg she would have killed that baby in the tub if she was alone 😮
@Heavyisthecrown
Social service moving her to a bigger house. A 3 bedroom house paid for by your pay check! Wtf! And don’t forget the paycheck for all the carers! Now imagine how many of her there are. Jesus Christ! So insane we all have to pay for others to live wtf I hate this world.
@Heavyisthecrown
Why did this " dr." Stuk himself into the birth giving last stage progress??? Atotal id…ot.
@OrinKay
😢😢😢😢😢that was the most painful birth i have ever seen in my life 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢what a terrible way to bring your first child into this world that will scare this poor women for life any women will never want to have another baby after that😢😢😢😢😢
@kellyalexander7347
Is it just me or is British residential architecture deliberately depressing?
@convivator
The concern is obvious but damn these ppl sucked the joy right out of Julia.
@GuiltyPleasure72
I grew up doing sign with my brother so watching her hand getting taps and knocks to tell her what the other person is saying with such precision is absolutely amazing to me!
@Callmeapril_76
I cant understand how shes blind and deaf but can talk how if you have never heard words can you talk most deaf people talk different because they cant hear themselves
@devynhale1623
An AMAZING woman this JULIA ❤❤❤
@jeannietollison2211
She'll probably be a great mother. Look at how bad the women who can see an hear are at being mother now a days…..
@grayrecluse7496
All I've seen in this is backward judgement toward Julia besides her close friends and Anna who is a real advocate for her on the invasiveness of the case workers. ( I wish she could've stayed longer). When she said in the beginning that the baby was the only thing keeping her going, I knew she was someone who was going to try her hardest because she showed already love for her baby from the beginning. Knowing this cruel world, there are hearing and seeing mothers who are the last people on Earth allow a child in their proximity yet the system lets it slide. When the woman, not sure if she's a social worker, said to Julia you don't come first, you can tell this was made in the 80s. We've come a long way in understanding the necessity of self care, especially for mothers. Unfortunately, there is still a battle on really being able to implement this as well as getting judgement for taking care of yourself before your family. You can't pour from an empty cup. Self care in caregiving of all forms is easier said than done.
@justathoughtmyfriend1403
Just like the USA — lots of assistance and free services for the people who make irresponsible choices.
@cindypattana6071
What happened to Julia's husband ?
@marshayoung9387
That birth looked traumatizing. She didn’t have adequate pain control
@Jannellbathbabe
Oh god what was that doctor doing to Julia!? Damn he seemed rough
I wouldn’t want him as a doctor.he didn’t seem gentle at all
@Fattiapples
It'd be great if you guys could put the original air date in the description.
@monicascott2354
social worker cow is just such an insensitive negative in your face old stupid wally i wish that she could just shove off and go and dig potatoes
@candyappleton2497
those low life sub-humans who call themselves social workers are evil, vile, and selfish and my experience of social workers is that they are not to be trusted under any circumstances because they are the most dirtiest liars on the face of this planet, the world would be a much better place without them because they so nasty vindictive and corrupt
@candyappleton2497
This video proves that men would sleep with anything
@dekev7503
Her poor best friend. She’s exhausted. You can see it in her eyes as she carries the baby inside for the first time.
@kelcieagee2190
When Julia was asked if she was being selfish to have a baby knowing that the baby may inherit her disease of going blind and deaf. I love how Julia responded, basically telling her she could have been selfish and just aborted the baby and not to ask a stupid question. That is to say, that you think any children with a disability is a disappointment and should not have lived at all. That only perfect children should thrive in this world. Look at Helen Keller and how much she accomplished.
Julia in labour was so painful to watch. Do all women have painful births like this? I have always wanted children however it was just not meant to be.
One of my friend's sister is blind and her husband is blind as well. She is a lawyer and he is a music therapist for alzheimer patients and they have two beautiful girls who can see. They have been doing terrific so far.
I wish we all knew how they are doing today about 20 or so years later.
@demijour1234
Oh, I just want to pick them up and she’s laying there crying and com and Julia’s just sit there on the couch and aware of the attention. Ayla needs.😢
@theresajohnson1959
To the previous comment. This is from 1994. It says so at the end. Plus the car number plates are from the mid 90's. I agree, a follow up would be great, and to see the changes in NHS social services/ funding
@palemew
I know this was filmed many years ago, but I have to say that I pray that child grew up okay. Julia is very unkempt herself, so I have concerns about her ability to raise a child. Not to mention her crappy attitude. I was on the fence in the beginning, but as soon as I saw her attitude after the baby was born, that did it. I just can't stand her. I do wish them both everything good in the world, but she's just too much of a know -it-all for me.
@lauriedavidson1585
WOW THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! A FEW THINGS I FEEL REALLYYY WORK IN HER FAVOR IS HER SENSE OF SMELL & TOUCH IS EXTREMELY HIGHTENED SO SHE HAS THAT ALSO SHE SADLY CAN'T HEAR SO THE STRESSES OF HER SCREAMING BABY DON'T OVERWHELM HER LIKE IT WOULD HEARING ABLE.
@jesseniavargas6969
Didn’t seem like Julia needed 24 hour care. She was highly capable
@aerialabby
How does she know when the child is crying. Poor baby, I wonder if baby finally realised to not cry for anything? I guess normally when a baby cries and they get comforted it becomes their language till they can speak. So I wonder if crying on end without being comforted or picked made baby to intuitively stop crying when they would ordinarily cry 😢
@fawziaabdurrahman2251
I feel very sad, hearing a baby cry so much and the mother can't hear it or see the signals of the babies face. Of course I wish that the mother can stay the mother of this child, but I think it's to risky to let her alone with that task, even over night. The young mother doesn't understand, that babies are not born to be our companions or best friends, and it's not their task to help us out of bad times. Usually parents talk to their babies a lot and show them the world, which this woman is not capable of. the baby looks already a bit lonely, and I don't think, this is solved in a responsible way.
@wuffgluck452
I know this may sound cruel, but I’m sorry that that baby should not have been ever left alone with her. I know the baby made it and grew up, however, what a dangerous situation for that precious baby. Poor baby, she doesn’t know when the baby is crying, selfish.
@theresajohnson1959
I always wondered what would happen if that baby got a hold of an object choking, laying there dying, she would not have known. She’s a very strong, courageous lady, but there has to be common sense. I know this is old and thank God, the child survived, and I believe she had a couple more there is a documentary out there that continues.
@theresajohnson1959
Being deaf is one thing, but to be blind is putting a child in danger. God bless her and the people who help look after the baby.
@theresajohnson1959
Is that a form of manual Braille input her assistant is using on her fingers?
Like, Braille has 6 dot spaces and hand has five fingers + palm could be the 6th "point".
I've seen deafblind ppl conversating by doing touch-based Braille on each others' fingers (3 middlest fingers from each hand, and touching the top side of fingers)
@mrj.kottari8453
My heart really goes out to her…..her life has been extremely difficult, and all she wants is to keep her baby. I can’t even imagine how heartbreaking it must be to feel your child growing inside of you and wanting with all your might to be able to raise her alone…..I honestly think people aren’t trying to actually empathize with her as a human being. There aren’t many people who suffer with the disabilities she does AND find themselves pregnant with the father being absent. I think she’s struggling with grasping the fact that she can’t function without help…she’s a grown woman and that must be very difficult to understand. She’s had to fight her whole life, so I think her stubbornness is a defense mechanism to make sure she’s not taken advantage of….I truly hope the best for her and for her child. ❤
@cecemepls0
She deserves to keep the baby regardless her handicap she can be a good mother however she's very ungrateful for all the support and help she got. If social services were always so good …but something she doesn't seem to appreciate so sad ,if it wasn't for their help she wouldn't kept the baby
@SE-hh4vx
What a good friend Julia has , I must say❤
@AzizanYunus
Shame on him
@AzizanYunus
What's with this meeting? Isn't a ybody going to give some praise, tell her how well she is doing etc. Stupid questions indeed, if she agrees with people who say she's selfish? The baby is here, too late for that!
@Huundeblogg
Before There were cps social workers there were nurse midwives and housekeepers why could a sensory deprived person be unable to live a great quality of life and raise their own child..?
@MammaLopez
