After a brief google search there is a device like hers that can convert sound speech with speech recognition tech into brail without requiring an assistant to type on a keyboard. Unfortunately I couldn’t find a price for one however I assume it’s expensive. Hopefully we develop tech in the future that would provide at least echo location for all blind people that would produce a noise and if the noise bounces off something would help a blind person recognize an object or obstruction

Sorry but this interviewer seems a little inappropriate. Laughing at weird times and such. But this was cool to learn about her 😊

Closed captioning is like molasses. It never covers most of the interview. Ironic.
