A Deaf character in Bluey (for real life!)

Have you ever seen a dog fluent in Auslan? Now you can.
We were thrilled to work with ABC TV + iview and Ludo Studio on a new episode of Bluey that features a Deaf character that signs! This is an important step in ensuring representation on screen for Deaf people and Auslan users and we are so excited to share the episode ‘Turtleboy’ with you.
‘Turtleboy’ was released on ABC this morning at 8am, watch it again at 6:20pm (AEST) or stream it on ABC iView.
We have also produced an Auslan translation of the episode to ensure it is fully accessible and that can be viewed here; https://iview.abc.net.au/show/bluey-turtleboy-auslan

This dude looks like my teacher but with volume turned all the way down (I know he's probably deaf and I'm not trying to be mean but I just made the comparison)

Usually, in sign language, name is pronouced by the letter.
if your name Mark, then sign out the letter M, A, R, K.
