Hate the dramatic way that hearing loss is referred to – the word "condemmed" is totally inappropriate for something which causes no suffering and children learn to live with (centuries before anyone thought of implants and for those for whom it may not be suitable)

This woman is horrible, she should not be allowed to be a parent

Why? Deaf people were 100% fine without a cochlear implant! Those hearing parents need to be learning more about Deaf Culture. They should learn ASL sign language for their children instead of paying a doctor to make them a cochlear implant.
