I have a kitten for a couple off days now, she is deaf to.
Its very different forms kittens i had before.
Difficult to correct had behavior.
Normally a loud no is enough, but she can not hear that.

I love having a deaf cat. No need to tip toe about noise around him and we can watch fireworks from our balcony together 🙂
Cons: He's very loud. Our neighbors must think that we abuse or neglect him with how crazy his meows are 😆

I know it is very selfish, but one of my main concern would be to not be able to call him when I want to come cuddle with me as I like the kind of cat that come when we call them.

I recently adopted a deaf cat (born deaf) he is 7 years old. We are having difficulty with his meowing at night, because it is extremely loud and it's non-stop. It's strange because he is very quiet during the day. I would appreciate any advice anyone can please give me on how to sleep with a loud, deaf cat. Thanks! 🙂

I've seen a deaf cat who liked to be groomed with a vacuum cleaner (low setting, obviously) after being brushed. I bet he would've had a very different reaction if he could hear, just like any other cat. 🙂
