Woman Gets Surgery to Restore Lip Her Ex-Boyfriend Bit Off
A South Carolina woman says her ex-boyfriend bit off her lip when she tried to break up with him. “He wanted to make me ugly so no one would love me,” said 19-year-old Kayla Hayes. She was just 17 when she dated Seth Fleury, who she says was controlling. After 11 months of dating, Kayla says she tried to break up with him, and that’s when he leaned in for an uninvited kiss and bit off her lower lip. She has since undergone surgery to rebuild the lip. Fleury is serving 12 years in prison. #InsideEdition

Hey Kayla, just remember that scars are a memory and a trophy. they build your character and define your personality, I’ve had my face torn open a few times starting when I was three and stabbed myself when I fell on a stick between my eyes. i’ve had quite a few stitches but I’ve never had surgery even though it was to the bone, I even refused painkillers.
I’ve been in so many accidents that I have honestly lost track of how many times I’ve had stitches internal and external. The thing I wanted you to know is that you look perfect because your personality is beautiful simply by the way you’ve dealt with it. Just wanted you to know.
