Deaf. Speech Impediment. No Excuses. | My Story of Overcoming the Victim Mindset

I’m partially deaf. I’ve had a speech impediment my whole life. And for years, I let those things define me. I believed I was less-than. That I didn’t have a voice, that I didn’t belong in the room. But I was wrong.
Disability doesn’t mean disqualified. Struggle doesn’t mean stuck. David Goggins said, “Don’t stop when you’re tired. Stop when you’re done.” That mindset changed my life — but so did something deeper.
It’s not just mental toughness. It’s faith. Jesus didn’t promise an easy life. He promised a cross. He calls us to deny ourselves, pick it up, and follow Him. That means rejecting the victim mindset. That means showing up even when it hurts. That means doing hard things — for His glory.
If you’re struggling with your identity…
If you’re tired of feeling stuck…
If you’re ready to stop being a victim and start being a warrior — this is for you.
