Old, Blind, Deaf Dog Shot Dead by Cop Thinking It Was Rabid
A sweet, old dog that was also blind and deaf was enjoying his final years until he was shot and killed by a police officer who said he believed the pet had rabies. Now there’s a huge backlash against the Sturgeon, Missouri, police officer. Bodycam footage shows the officer walking to the fluffy white 13-pound shih tzu named Teddy after responding to a call about an injured dog. At first he sounds as nice as can be as he tries to get a lasso around the dog’s neck.
